World Health Organization

WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE)
SAGE is charged with advising WHO on overall global policies and strategies, ranging from vaccines and technology, research and development, to delivery of immunization and its linkages with other health interventions.
Throughout the pandemic, WHO has published SAGE-endorsed guiding principles to help guide countries in their decision making. The first was published in March 2020 to help guide countries during the early stages of the pandemic. The second was published in November 2020 to help address the challenges related to the extended disruptions caused by the pandemic. The latest guiding principles were recently updated, titled Guiding Principles for recovering, building resiliency, and strengthening of immunization in 2022 and beyond. This document is intended to support countries in their decision-making regarding recovery, resiliency- building and strengthening of immunization. It incorporates the Immunization Agenda 2030 principles of being people-centred, country-owned, partnership-based and data-guided.
Gavi, the vaccine alliance
Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance is a public-private partnership seeking to improving access to new and underused vaccines for millions of disadvantaged children around the world. Gavi provides vaccine and immunisation resources and guidelines for the public, health care workers and policy makers.
